Question signal/hazard flasher dilemma
My wifes trusty '76 toyota wagon's flasher unit died. So far, the 2 aftermarket units from NAPA simply dont work. Contacted the local (90miles) dealer and he said he could order me one for $48 plus shipping. None of the top 5 Google searches yielded anything. Dealer says NO aftermarket flasher is currently avail. in USA. Part # in question is 81980-12H01. Any one have this experrience or know of a way to debunk the dealers availability myth?

Check the wires they could be damaged and/or loose. I ended up rewiring my 74 honda cause the main loom was all brittle and cracked.
