AE92 GT-Z... that doesnt work...
This is the JTCC BP Kraft Trueno. AE86 frame Powered by a 503e. The 503e is a TRD produced engine based on the 3s-gte. Some versions utilized in the Pikes Peak Rally event produce over 1000 hp. This one produces 400 hp in it's class.
Supra's in the same series, JTCC, also use the 503e. Why not the original 2jz-gte? Space an weight. Even though the 503e is a 2.0 liter turboed 4 cylinder, it can produce the same reliable HP as the 2jz.
ah...Toyota....

they use the 3sgte because JGTC allows them to run more boost on a 4 cylinder than on a 6.
So many tuners opt for the 3sgte because it can produce just as much hp as the 2jzgte minus the weight and the boost restrictions. power to weight ratio. and if you notice, they actually move the engine back a few more inches to balance out the car.
Although don't confuse by saying they use the 3s-gte, which it is not. They engine is a 503e based on the 3s-gte. Although they are similar, there's major differences. We'll have people in here saying they have JGTC engines in their AWD Celica's and MR2's!
