i was just wondering if most of the engine components would be the same on the prism and corolla. I'm not sure what style of prism it is but it looks just like a corolla dx.

engine components? well anything in the block is theoretically useable being as they are both 4a blocks, the head, accessories, manifolds, etc are not compatable

actually not quite.... the 4afe blocks are the same as the early 4ag.... but not the 88+'s 7 ribs with the 42mm crank journals

the wiring and ecu and time, thats it, infact supposedly the only high comp red top 4ages in the US came in the prizim GSI, which has all kinds of cool stuff for the sedan guys on it if you ever find one at the junk yard,

i thought you (toyota speed) or tim tekphobia said the small port high comp map ge only came in the gsi, i wasnt saying that we never got the small port,

The MAP sensor smallport was in the GSi.

The 90-91 GT-Ss had AFM smallports.
