i just got an injen intake from ebay a few weeks back and i love it. More horsepower and a lot more torque in the high end. I got it for only 60 dollars and thats a really good deal since they cost 200 dollars from injen. It was for the corolla s so only a small mod was needed. The MAF sensor is on the throttle body on the regular corolla but on the S it is on the intake. So all you have to do is cut a piece of sheet metal and sauder or weld it where the MAF goes. I wouldnt recommend getting those 30 dollar crap intakes on ebay. Go with namebrand. I dont think you can put a 02-05 intake on the 98 because the throttle body on the 02-05 are a little bigger. If you want to do something real cool, get the 02-05 throttle body and make it fit on your 98. My engine has been leaning out with the intake so Im looking for injectors from a celica gt or mr2 spyder since they have the same engine and seeing if that will correct my A/F ratio. I have done some research before when I was looking a intakes and I believe the only companies who make intakes for the 98 are injen, trd, and aem might have one, not sure. It sucks not having many performance parts for the 98. Let me know if you have questions.
