that's curious indeed.
I can only imagine a few things: Do you usually travel short distances and had a longer distance
lately? Has winter ended and temperatures are on the rise again?
In deep winter, especially if you travel short distances, oil is mixed with condensation and
also with fuel, because of the enriching at cold start. If the oil doesn't get hot enough to allow the fuel to evaporate it'll remain in the sump. Once the oil does get hot, the fuel and water condensation evaporate and so you observe a higher than normal oil consumption.
That's the only thought I can share. Other than that, keep observing how it behaves from here forward.
