Hey if you want to sell, then sell it to the rich the rich guys son who happen to be a huge anime fan. I'd bid but I have 2 already and I'm having a **** load of delays in getting my body work done on my good one and getting my bad one back so I can part it out.

nonononononono i'm NOT the seller just found this on ebay, car used to be from someone here
That's definitely Dacatz old 86, looks like he's trying to jack it up like im_a_dickhead did. BTW, he ended up getting a $2350USD bid on his beat up coupe... damn, shows what Intial D does to cars that are worth $500.
When I called to ask about it (back when Dacatz was selling) he told me the car had over 300k on it and there was something wrong with the timing belt. Now I don' t know how much life is left in it, but getting a timing belt replaced is a few hundred there.
Now I'm not sure this is the same car you guys think it is. In any case I took a look at the car today and took a few pictures.
It's very rusted. Not to obviously on the outside but almost all the places that you guys and my friends have mentioned that are generally bad places to rust, were rusted.
Start with the goods:
- engine started fine but idles at 1500rpm (that normal??)
- new exhaust
- cross drilled front rotors
- lowered with Tokico shocks (I wasn't able to confirm the shocks)
- aftermarket rims
- tire tread was good
- new clutch
- passed emissions and cert recently (like a week ago)
- front strut towers weren't rusted
- underbody (floor) didn't seem rusted
- trunk wasn't badly rusted
Bads:
- Rust -> under door leading edge, A pillar, door mount under A pillar, master cylinder slightly, fenders, trunk, etc. etc.
- paint was bubbling everywhere with, I assume, rust underneath
- paint on bumpers was flying off
- there were plugs/wires in the trunk and engine not connect to anything but the tail lights worked
- AC is broken and I think the AC unit is GONE
- generally in bad condition
I'm really looking hard for an AE ... I was very disappointed with this one

Well the meet has already started and unfortunately I doubt I'll be there. Girlfriend had prior engagements with me, anyway, I'll be at the next one or any held during August.
all this praise for the 86 I kinda wish I would have bought an 86 instead of my 92. OH WELL... I still love my 92 and I still have room for another car in the driveway. Hmmm.. 86???

you aren't looking hard enough, like 70% of most 86s in toronto are like this, u are probably dissappointed, but shouldn't be VERY disappointed...
either u will give up looking, or u will keep on looking but your expectations will surely lower....then at that stage, u will take pretty much ANY 86 :-?
