HELP! 89 SR5 4AF running rich.

Just want to start by saying HI.

I have a 89 SR5 with the 4AF 1.6 w/ California emissions.
The car has started a problem with running very rich. I'm at a loss at where to start. the car has new cap, wires, rotor, plugs.
I can't really afford to start buying sensors if they aren't going to help. can someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you Glen.

Check vacuum lines. If the engine check light stays on do a code check for any sensors it may have. Should explain how to do that in your owners manual. Pick up a Haynes manual for your car to refer to. Check to see if all cylinders are rich or just #one and two.
