96 corolla burns aloy of oil "help"

1996 corolla with 230 000 kms 0r 150000 miles burns 4 to 5 quarts per oil change. car has been dealer maintained. I checked the compression and every cylinder is between 70 - 80 psi. Removed the plugs and there is a heavy white build-up on them. The car is not leaking on the ground nor is there any smoke coming out the tail pipe at start-up on while driving. There is no residue on the dip stick nor in the radiator.
Is it bad valve seal, pcv valve or valve guides?

nah, my moms 4afe pumps about 150 and burns no oil, 70 psi is about 4-1 compression ratio , you have to have 60 for it to even run right, the white stuff on the plugs is ashes, what oil are you using?

i got a very similar problem mine is burning alot of oil too but it has like 170 - 180 psi compression my Haynes manual lists standard compression as 191psi and minimum compression as 142psi only having 70 - 80 it must run like sh*t maybe redo the compression test before assuming the worst, because i can't figure mine out either. Do you have any idea what your oil pressure is on average????????
