Turboing an ae92, along with a cold air intake

I'm just wondering where I might place the turbo on my stock ae92, its running the 4a-ge engine, and I want to put on a cold air intake for my car.

If Andrew Lee is reading this, Bob sent me here to find out info for my car, since I'm another avid Canadian wanting to make something out of his Corolla. If anyone lives near Regina and wants to help me with this project let me know cause I could you all the help I can get.

I've seen AE92 with turbos sitting over the tranny. Pretty neat setup.

first off, this is andrew, nice to meet you, this board is mainly canadians, but from the toronto, ontario areas.

bob is my mentor for the ae92, as his knowledge and creativity have pushed my ideas for my car.

anyways, there are a few options for a turbo, i assume you know how a turbo works, so you will know all the plumbing will have to be custom made. including the exhast manifold.

with the added air, you will need gas. my car is running rich already at WOT and i am sure i could do 5psi without changing much in terms of adding gas, but you could try a few things to ensure you don't run lean too much of the time

1. larger injectors,

these can be found from a super charged 4age, or the green ones from a 3sge powered celica.

2. rising rate fuel pressure reg + fuel pump.

i have been told that supra fuel pumps work.

you would definatly want to ensure your engine is up to spec, making sure it is putting out some solid compression, and all the gaskets and seals are fresh.

There are other 4age enthusuasts out by where you are in SKOON, and i am on that board too, they are called DORIKAZE, and here is their URL:

http://pub25.ezboard.com/bdorikaze

most of the active members are somewhere in skoon and edmonton, and they are all avid enthusists of the 4age, but most of them are driving either the ae86, or the aw11, (rwd corolla gts and mr2, respectively) and i think it would be time to have an ae92 up there representing!

they are all Do It Yourslefers and like me, probably home depot/canadian tires favourite stingy customer.

if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask, new pics of my car coming soon!
