In dash 3 disc cd changer

Hi folks,

New to Toyota Nation. Used this site to help with my timing belt issue. Now looking for some more insight.....

I bought a used 96 corolla 2 months back and it came with a an alpine in-dash 3 disc cd changer.

Now its busted and i'm looking to replace. Do you folks know any place that sell in-dash cd changer? I've been searching but cannot seeem to find. The smallest I've seen are 6 disc cd changers and I don't think it can fit in the dash ...

My corolla also has that am/fm cassette player. Would it be easier to just replace that player with mp3 player and completely get rid of cd changer? What do you guys think?

BTW, the in-dash cd changer is just under the a/c unit. Wish I new how to post pics so I can show you folks what i'm talking about....

Cheers,

Geoff

the "In-Dash" 3-disc changers have been discontinued for a while as far as I can remember... I think from about mid-90's, Alpine made the in dash 3disc changers, it didn't catch on as much as Alpine wished.

I'd say just go with an MP3 player and maybe a 6disc in the glovebox or in the trunk.. tape player?? what's that??
