damn i gotta sumons

today i gottta a sumons for my muffler,ya think i'll have significant gain if just keep my muffler stock but change the down pipes and headers?

Do you have one of those 4-inch chromed ricer mufflers or just a rusty stock one? Why is it that everyone thinks these ricer mufflers help performance?! They are loud because they create backpressure in the exhaust system, and backpressure is a BAD thing for performance! Regards, Aaron

its the other way around dude.. they don't create back pressure.. specially straight thru mufflers.. that's why they're loud, cause the exhaust fumes go thru without any backpressure.. making it loud. Regular mufflers use plates to create backpressure, and they also have sound deadening materials to keep the noise down.
