stay away from anything with the word "hyper" or "hiper" in it. Sylvania Silverstar bulbs will give you nice white light with a tint of bluish purple.

You can also modify the 9005 bulbs to fit the 9006 sockets which will give you more lumins (brighter light) - DIY LINK

If you go on ebay or something you'll find a tons of 9006 and 9005 lights proclaming they'll give you the HID look and the brightness; all that is comletely false. If you want to get that bluish look, go for it, just make sure you get the same wattage as your original bulbs or you'll end up burning the bulb and possibly the wiring. (my friend did that on his mustang before.) I believe the wattage for the low beam and high beam is 55w, but I would check the manuel just to be sure.
Silvania Sylverstarts are the best choice if you want something white and that will illuminate more. You can actually go to Kragen, Checker, and etc., or any local performance shop and you'll be able to buy them, or if you're an ebay member you can buy them there as well. I actually used them for a while on my '04 corolla untill I got my HIDs.

I've been running Silverstars on my 03 s since I got it three years ago....I love these bulbs the only problem is with my DRL's I never get a full year out of them, I complained to Sylvania(talked to the head of customer relations) and he told me thats about as long as I can expect to get running with DRL's....They were nice about it and sent me out a new pair(9006)...At $40+ a pair I would think they would last longer but I go to Ebay and have found some new for $25 and free shipping. I have never seen a blue/purple tint that you talk about just a bright pure white bright light...also whats funny is when they burn out its usually within days of each other if your getting 2 years or more out of your silverstars I'm happy for you...thats a good idea about the 9005 bulbs ....Radd Guy
