how do i know what engine my AE86 has? I bought it used and I dunno what engine model it has...I need to know so i can be sure of what to do to pump it up...and other thing what things can I do to enhance a AE86 automatic transmission and make to push the limits of my engine? (only thing I know bout my engine is that is is a 1600 cc nothing more. the chasis is AE86 corolla 84 can somebody answer my questions? it will be really apreciated

If it's carburated, you have a 4ac. Call Luis from Paradise Racing for his power pack for the 4ac. Do a search on google for his number or go to paradiseracing.com

Only thing to do with the Auto trans......is to upgrade to a manual trans hahaha

. I have no idea what is out for the auto????

apart from the manual transmission I need to do some tweaking to my engine to make it better...at least until I buy a twin cam one

If it's a AT, it's a SR5 and it's a 4ac engine.

There were actually some gts' that came in AT form.

yes it is AT so its a SR5 I want to swap it to a 4AGE...i saw a 4AGE from a Levin 20 valve at $350.00 is it worth it...??? not to mention was on ebay...or maybe I should stick to the 16 valve? well I dunno as for the transmission the celica transmission is pretty popular with AE86 in Puerto Rico...any comments??
