USA starting problems when hot 2000 corolla

hi i have a toyota corolla ce 2000 for 1 week now i have been having starting problems
when the car warms up to normal temp or driving for a while and i shut it off and try to restart it it wont start i have to wait about 3 - 10 mins . anyone know what i should check for the engine light is off the car has about 47k miles thanks. p.s the battery is good, the engine turns over it trys to start and when i get it to start finally if i press the gas hard it sounds like it bogs and a few seconds later its ok i dont know if it bogs becuase i am pressing to much on the gas when trying to start it .thanks again. the car does not shut off when driving only on starting when warm.

When you try to restart, does the engine turn over normally or does it sound slower then usual? Heat can cause higher resistance to the starting system.

Its called heatsoak.. my car and many other older Corollas do it.. the starter gets heat soaked with the heat from the manifold.. and it won't start until it cools down.. trust me man.. its annoying in the summer.. having to push start your car..

If the engine starts when cold. Its probably not the starter itself. However, its possible that there may be some resistance in the cable from the battery to the starter. Try cleaning battery posts, clean the connection at the starter.

How long since the sparks plugs were replaced? Also could be a hot soak problem with the winter blend of gas contributing to the problem. Have you tried holding pedal down slightly while cranking? That generally works for my older fuel injected corolla when it takes longer than usual to start.

hello the spark plugs where never changed its got 47k miles about i just noticed something else today it might have to do with the problem im not sure when im driving and if i floor the gas pedal lets say about 10 -20 miles per hour or higher speeds the car bogs hard hesitates
its like if its going into nuetral do i have 2 problems or could it be one problem causing this like if the car isnt getting air or something the o2 senors where both changed the engine light is off the air filter is good i opened the box where the air filter is ,is that the air intake? i looked for a few mintues ill look again tommorrow was to busy today thanks again for all the help p.s if i floor it when cold its fine takes off and runs good only when driving for a while,i did fill up the gas 2 times snice this has been happing with 2 different gas stations moblie 93 and sunco 93 or 94 i always used mostly does gas stations.
