i have a '93 LE with a 7afe in it and in less than 3000km the engine pumped like an entire gallon of synthetic oil and that pissed me off cuz thats like 55$can in the garbage

any1 would know the problems?

Why use synthetic?

But anyway, you sure youve checked well for leaks? Idle the car in place for like 10 min and then see if there's oil on the ground.

Hope someone else can help.

hey, i got the same friggen problem...let me guess it doesn't smoke on startup, it doesn't normally smoke, and there are no oil leaks.. and the harder you drive the faster it "disappears" i found something wierd on mine...

All i know is that its comming from the PCV system, collecting here and dumping down the intake as to why its there i have no freeking idea i passed it by a tech at the local toyota dealer and he had no idea.. no one on here seems to know either.. im thinking of putting together a group of 7A-FE'ers and asking toyota to help us with a solution to this problem

How is your compression? The only way you would get that much oil in your intake via the PCV valve is if the engine has a lot of blow-by, right? You may just have worn rings. Regards, Aaron
