Pics of my AE86 and 4agze

Hi guys!

For those who haven't seen it already...

Here's what it looked like when I bought it....

Here's what it looks like now...

Here are pics of my soon to be in 4agze...

The car was bought from the original owner in Toronto. Has never seen a winter ans has been rust-proofed every yeaar since 1986. Car was also dissasembled, repainted and rust proofed by Toyota themselves a couple of years back. There's rust-proof in every nook and notch on the car, it's unbelievable. It is in show room condition, completely rustless. The engine in it is a low-mileage (52,000km) jspec 4age. EGR was reinstalled to pass emissions in Ontario. Engine has all original japanese stickers. Just to let you know that when I got the car, the jack and tools hadn't move from there since 1986. They still had an original Toyota seal wrapped around them. Car also came with a full Alpine system. 6 Alpine speakers, 4 Alpine amps, 1 alpine electronic active cross-over and a Kenwood 10 inch sub. Price I paid? 2000$.

What I have done to it now has been some Celica Supra rims on 195/60/14 Yokohama A520's, original shocks replaced with monroe sensatracs, under the axle mendrel bend 2 1/2 inch piping with N2 copy (Ractive) exhaust, cone filter. Replaced O2 sensor, replaced defective AFM, full tune up (plugs, wiring, cap, rotor, gas filter). Car is running on Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic, 94 octane gas, diff is running redline oil so is the tranny.

Future plans call on installing the Jspec GZE which I got all the adjacent needed parts for (ECU, igniter, etc...), rebuild it completely (all seals, timing belt, rings, etc...) , 14 psi pulley, install the factory OEM LSD which I got in a box, change all bushings, Tokico blue in front and back with some TRD springs (Derek! Gimme that guys phone number!) and a short shifter kit.

Damn Pat, that is one of the cleanest AE86's I've seen. You found a real diamond in the rough!! I like what you have done with it as well, let us know how the 4AGZE transplant goes!

Hey Pat,
Sorry you didn't get to go parts shopping last time you were here in Toronto, email me a list of what you want and I'll do my best to find them for you. Car is looking good as usual, you're making me want to start my GZE project this winter! Maybe I should move to Montreal, that way there'll be no dumb front liscence plate blocking my supra intercooler

The hachiroku looks great! The exterior looks well cared for and that 4A-GZE engine will be sweet with that 14 psi pulley (cusco, right?).
