04 Corolla - Parts Removal

Hello,

I've decided to do a small bit of work on my Corolla after finding some nice DIY guides for adding Angel Eyes as well as dash backing.

However on each project I got hung up due to the way the 04 Corolla's are designed.

1st) How can I remove the needles/knobs from the dash so I can get to the plastic sheet back behind them? (the one that has all the numbers for the spedometer etc...)

2nd) Is there any way to remove the front (hard plastic) covering from the headlights? I tried prying up the grey snaps that seemed to hold them in place but it was a no go. Actually ended up accidently popping one off with no gains.

It may just be me but I cannot find what you mentioned on either of those sites. (Although I found some other interesting projects )

The first site just shows headlight removal from the back while I need to go in from the front.

On the second site do I need to register?


Just noticed what you might have thought. By Dash I meant the area with the spedometer and whatnot not the place with the AC knobs.

Don't want to nag but still need help. The dash problem is more important to me. (needles/knobs = speedometer, tachometer.... those needles)
