well, my clutch is going out and i need a new one;( how hard is it to switch the clutch as a Do it yourself job? is it worth it just to pay the 400 USD to take it to a shop and have them do the work?(inculdes basic clutch) thanx

I haven't personally attempted a clutch but i do believe that with a FF car, the engine space is already tight. To squeeze in there and unbolt the tranny is gonna be hard. Then you have to drop out the tranny which is heavy and big. You'd need your car to be lifted pretty high off the ground to be able to get enough room to work under there. I'd shop around and see what kinda prices there are.
