Good morning,
I am about to purchase this 1980 Corolla Wagon. I was just hoping you guys could give me some feedback and input. I will be buying the car for $750. Do you guys think it is worth it? What should I do to fix it up? Will fixing it up (cosmetically....interior and exterior) be costly? I really want a wagon and they seem to be very hard to find, so I need all of the unbias feedback I can get. Any DIY yourself information is always welcome. If you do not want to post a reply feel free to contact me at: cabanv@ocps.net. Thanks.

Automatic.. where did he say that??

Looks like a perfect candidate for Pimp My Ride.. just cause its a pimp wagon!

I agree though... low ball them till they give in.. don't pay the $750 for it. specially if its not running.. Offer them $400 to start then work your way up.

Then repaint it, do up the motor and suspension, throw some panasports on and you got a nice old school Toyota.

If it was in "great" condition, it "might" be worth $750 .... as is, it certainly doesn't appear to be worth half that. (what's up with wires hanging all willy-nilly and all under the dash ??? Half-assed lookin' for sure...) I say forget about it......save your $$$ for a better beater project (of course, this is only my opinion - if for some reason you find it to be worth that $$$ to you, then go for it and have at it !!! )

Yah, also looks modded, and you know how half-assed people can be!

I'd say offer whatever you feel like it's worth to you. If the body is mostly solid, then you can always do everything else!

Seems like I should be waiting. It is running, but needs a new starter. I've got a few others I'm looking at, but I'm still waiting for pics. Keep the opinions coming, I really appreciate it!
