Just jack-up the front end and use a hydro-jack to lower the tranny. Thats how I did it in my driveway... not much else you can do if you dont have a lift.

you can also use the neil method and lie belly up under the tranny and sort of bench press it out.. (while lying on a creeper).. then rest it on your chest/gut and roll out from under the car..

also look at your OEM repair manual.. i'm sure most of your questions will be answered there

The best way I've found is to get it up on four jack stands as high as they'll go. It gives you more room and I've found that when you only put up the front it gets everything at a wierd angle when you try and put it back in. Just make sure they're good jack's and the car is on them solid since you'll be pushing and pulling and yanking on stuff!

Good LUCK!!

just off the belly :)

..any higher and the 50lb's starts to get heavy while your trying to work it all back together, it sucks if it takes too long cause your arms fall asleep and then the tranny falls on you, me got lot's of padding even still, I try to not go too high so it doesn't hurt as much if it comes down hard
