maximun fuel milage on 95ish corolla

Ok, its my first time posting, and I have what perhaps is an odd question. My dad has a 1988 chevy nova (ae92 I think). Anyhow, he left if in neutral and it rolled into our woods, so he wants another corolla...just a newer one. But he wants a wagon with a stick (gotta love that stick in the econobox) and a base model engine. So I suppose my question is...is this possible? I went on some review website and they said that it got roughly 35 mpg (the 1.6 dohc) and thats about what he wants.

Anyhow, about myself...as you might be able to tell from my screenname, I am more into Opels than Toyotas...although I do love the 2nd gen mr2 with the 3s-gte. But naturally, my favorite engine of all time is the 13bT rotary (turbo II...which is what im putting in my opel...once I get some money...)
Anyhow, thanks
-Rob

my 96 prizm gets about 37 mpg mostly highway. just this morning I checked my tank and I travelled 110 miles with a quarter tank which is roughly 2.5 gallons. a corolla/prizm with a stick is a dream to be driving when gas is 2.30 a gallon. They're reliable, cheap(prizm) and pretty quick for the price. I bought mine for 2000 dollars with taxes!!!

Hmmm alright thanks...
Is there a possibility of getting a mt in the station wagon form? And a little less likely, is there a possibility of getting a mt in a station wagon with awd?
Thanks,
-Rob

I've seen manual wagons for sale before.. but wagons are pretty rare in the first place, specially the AE101s not so much as the AE92s so good luck finding both.
