how to take off plug wires?

im dont work on toyota's much, but my i was changing my friends park pugs today and cant seem to pul off the spark pug wires. its a 96 toyoya corolla DX automatic, 4 cylinder.

all 4 of the spark plug wires wont budge evern after i twist and pull it. most of the time when pull the wires in my honda it just comes off with a little pull. is there a way or technique to do it? it seemed very hard

hehehe... yeah, happens everytime I change my... correct spelling.. "spark plugs" in my car.. you just gotta pull harder man.. the spark plugs have an almost ball-like round top so the wire actually clips over it. Hopefully you have OEM and not cheap wires though.. cheap wires are practically more prone to breaking off.

After a while they really get stuck on there good. Last time I changed my wires two of the cores broke off when I pulled them off the plugs.
