Question Suspension

Are the TRD lowering springs worth it for the 05 Corolla S? Does anyone know if there is a full aftermarket exhaust system for it either? Please let me know!!!

My buddy has Tein's on his 2004 S.. doesn't look too bad. He also got a custom double exhaust done.. looks ok IMO, but I wouldn't have done it on an automatic.

How's the drop. I was wondering if the spec of a 2.4" drop was too aggressive for the corollas. I've got an '03 S 5-speed manual and am considering the teins.

i have trd struts and springs on my 1998 corolla and it looks great. I know its not the new corolla. The new corollas are stock with a huge gap between the fenderwell and the tire. I believe it around 3 inches. So a 2.4 inch drop would be just right. TRD is the best and they know the exact hieght the car needs to be at to preform the best. Also if you are going to put aftermarket springs on stock struts... the struts might wear prematurely.

I don't think his Teins are 2.4 inch drop.. well.. the Corolla has SUV-like height to start with.. but to me it didn't look like a 2.4inch drop.. 2 maybe.

did he have to make any camber adjustments after the drop, or just an alignment?
