Bought a 4age for my 92... what's in store?

Just bought a JDM 4AGE 20 VALVE SILVER TOP, with a 5 speed attached. My car is in my sig. The car came with the harness, but I need to get the ECU.

So, what do I still need to buy for the motor swap and the auto to 5 speed swap?

What should I look forward to during the swap? I've done a motor in my Camaro... but this is a little different!

shouldn't be too bad bro, if you're doing a tranny swap then you'll need all of the components for the manual tranny. shift console, slave cylinder, clutch cylinder etc..... i would suggest ebay and also probe your local junkyards if they have ae92's in the yards where you're at. ecu shouldn't be a problem./ there on ebay for like 200 bucks.
here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

nice choice with the engine tho. a question. are you going for speed or what? otherwise i would have suggested a 4agze swap instead. if you ever want to boost then i would suggest gze internals. or at least forged pistons, and low compression head gasket. hit me up i got loads of info on the topic and i knwo someone with these engines in an ae86 and an ae92 and a ae101.

Ok, I'll see what I can do about the 5 speed stuff.

I would have gotten the 4agze, but I got a decent deal on this one (650 shipped total). What if I got the turbo manifold and put it on this block? Or is that a no-no?

What kind of 1/4 mile times might I see with the 4age?

Lastly, what do I need for axles?

i think the silver does 16's... well... at least thats what it does back here with all the hot humid air we get (even at night).

fwik, you can use the axles from your stock 4afe.

Hmm, someone mentioned that the motor might be OBD2 or something like that... how can I find out, and, can I make it work in my car?

Ebay! $450 buy it now + $200 shipping. 30 day warranty, and anywhere from 10k-40k miles.
