Aem Cai

IS there anybody that tried to fit AEM CAI for the matrix XRS on the Corolla XRS? From the dyno chart they provide they got 9.9fl-lb of torque increase @ 8000rpm and 15.2hp @ 8250rpm.... Appear to be good, look like the corolla xrs version not yet released....

Injen is the tried and tested way to go for the 05 Corolla XRS.

If you can get an 04 Matrix XRS AEM CAI, most likely it will fit just like Injen. In Calgary, Injen Intake is available for $300 at speedtech. I think there is about $50 installation charges as well.

Yeah but I imagine it make some difference. As i don't think it is just the fact to get colder air but also were the maf is placed to give correct reading to ecu. I'm new to sport compact i've been playing with mustang for many year without CAI! but I wonder if it's worth it... it give at least nice sound... and will be good to fit my nitrous nozzle.... and then it will be playtime with honde

Yes ofcourse it does. The Injen intake like any good one on the XRS adds about 5-7 whp (around 10 crank HP) and about 3-4 ft lbs of wtq (around 8-9 ft lbs at the crank). Ofcourse, it sounds very aggressive above 6000 rpm. You can see a video on it too at 9thgen.
