Most relays are pretty hard to get out, try a pocket screwdriver and pry to get it started. OR...
there are other ways to depressurize the fuel system, there should be a fuse label fuel pump or fuel pump relay (probably in the under hood fuse box, but it could be in the underdash one) pull that and let the car run till she dies.
If nothing else work else works you could, with the engine off, energize (Make sure to use a protected jumper) the fuel injectors to dump the fuel but that will flood the cylinder/s of the energized injectors. So I don't recomend this, but I have seen it done.
