98 Corolla hesitation, rough idling, fuel filter??

I have a 1998 Corolla and for that past few weeks, I've had problems with hesitation, rough idling, misfiring, etc. First, I was told it was my spark plugs, so I changed them. Then it might be my spark plug wires, wires were fine. Now, it's probably my fuel filter, but it's in my gas tank . How do I go about dropping the gas tank to get to the filter ?

Are you having overheating problem? I am thinking that it might be worth it to check the cooling system(there might be air bubbles in the sytem). Very simple fix, if thats the case. I say that due to your rough ideling problems.
