Just installed TRD Exhaust--PITA!

I just put on a TRD exhaust on my 2000 Corolla with a friend--what a pain getting that rubber hanger on! We pried it on against the bottom of the trunk but it was a grueling process. In the process of taking off the old exhaust, we broke the little black clips that go against the rubber piece to secure it--should I get new ones? If so, where should I get them? Also, it is a bit louder than I thought it would be. It seems to resonate a lot.

Thanks,
Scott

Well I think I answered one of my questions. I got metal rings from Ace hardware that should do the job. However, I have another question. In case we scraped some of that protective black coating off of the car while prying against it, what should I do? I don't want rust or anything.

Thanks,
Scott

Edit: After seeing how the metal ring would fit, I am not going to use it. I don't know if I would ever be able to get it off. So back to square one. Could I get them at Toyota?
