Unhappy uh oh...i messed my dash up

took the dash on my 04 CE apart...I couldn't stand the white lights in my eyes at night anymore, and I wanted to change them. Anyway....I broke just about everything. I broke the clear plastic cover on the outside...I broke the lil plastic screw that holds the whole cluster in the dash, and now my TACH does not work.

So...what do I do now?...do I go to toyota and order all the stuff I broke?

What if my tach never works again?...do I deal w/ it?...

I still have those awful white lights that are in the CE model.....

Should I order a used cluster from an "S" model from ebay?

Oh god...why does plastic break soooooooooooo easy!

Seriously... you should've stopped when you realized you didn't know what you were doing... even when you broke the first thing you should've stopped and ask someone for help or directions. I'm sure there's guys here that have taken off their dashboards without problems.

As for the tach.. you might have forgot to plug something back in.

Go to a good car audio shop. They should be able to do whatever you like, for a fair price.

all fixed...took all apart again, replaced the cheesie plastic anchor that exploded w/ a new one, a lil super glue on the plastic tab I cracked. Got it all back nice nice.

Disconnected battery, let her sit, and that reset suttin, so now tach works again.

Can't tell I had car apart.
