97 Starter replacement issue?

G'day people,

I just had a quick Q... I'm changing the starter on my '96 Corolla... I've bought a refurbished one (1997 Bosch), which are suppose to be the same. The only problem I've encountered is that the power connector does not match... the female and male portion are different. Is there a quick fix to this or should I return it and get another one.

Thanks

Return it and go to Canadian Tire and buy a brand new Hitachi.
Bosch remanss use to be a good name but not anymore. Bosch sold their Alternator and starter rebuilding business to Champion. I think they were have alot of problems. I got 2 crappy Bosch Alternators from CT, One intermittant and one DOA.

Better yet get yours rebuilt at a reliable Auto Electric shop. Thats what I did. I was lucky they did not request the core back.
