Electrical woes... help!!

Ok, picked up my new baby today; a 1989 SR5. It needs a clutch, but otherwise the thing is nearly mint inside and out!

My problem is, the following don't work, and I checked all the fuses (under driver's side and under hood... found one 30a blown under the hood, but didn't fix the problem):

Dome light (bulb good)
Gauge lights
Radio

There might be more, but I haven't encountered it yet. What the heck is wrong?

check some of the relays that could cause stuff to not work like that, so either test them or hit a scrap yard and get a second set then try the second set....might also be the ignition switch

Where are the relays? And wouldn't the dome light and the gauge lights work regardless of where the key is?

Maybe the bulbs are burnt out on the dash.. did you check for that??? how bout turning up the little wheel on the left side of the dash to turn on the dash lights.

Also the dome light may not work because the door sensor might be gone.

I turned the wheel for the gauge lights, no go. Also, the dome light doesn't come on with the switch.

what did u do with the prizm man

I blew the tranny racing a celica on the highway. The 3spd auto doesn't like doing over 100 for a long time

Parts are available (such as CAI, clear corners by APC (for rolla, not prizm), etc.) but then I'm junking the heap. Everything else is fine, and the motor passes the emissions test more than perfect!
