what's wrong?

If my

tachometer, trip meter, oil level meter, water temperature gauge, fuel level gauge, backlight

don't work, BUT my

speedometer and odometer

do work...

and all the fuses are fine...

What should I check or replace in order for them to work?

(1986 SR5 coupe...bone stock 4AC)

Check your fuses again...

Speedo and odo are usually mechanical so they don't run off a fuse. Not sure about trip meter though...

The trip meter runs off the odometer, which runs off the speedometer.. so yeah they run off the speedo cable which is mechanical. There's a fuse for all the other stuff, if the fuse is fine, you might have a bad wire somewhere.

you re-read fool!! I told you they work because they're mechanical.. the other stuff don't work because there's a fuse or relay that's probably blown.

any idea where the fuses you speak of are? i checked the kick panel on driver side and the fuses in the engine bay...if there are more, i have no idea where they are located. if it's wiring, where can i buy the wiring and possibly get it installed if it's too hard for a noob like me to do?
