I have settled on getting some MB Motoring Rev wheels from Discount Tire Direct, with Hankook Ventus HR II tires.
I have an option of 15s or 16s, but I have to clear something up.
I would like to get 16s but I know next to nothing about wheels so I don't know if there is going to be a problem with them.
If I get 16s they will be 16x7 with an offset of 38. The tires I would get with them would be 205/45/16 XL B.
If I get 15s they will be 15x7 also with an offset of 38. The tires I would get with them would be 205/50/15 DSB.
Basically wheels and tires will be the same width, so there should be no difference in mounting between the 15s and 16s, no?
I think the stock offset is 40... is 38 gonna be ok?
Also I'm confused by the sidewall descriptions what does XL mean for the 16" tires?
Also, do you guys recommend getting certificates for the tires, or discount tire's Ride Match/Road Force balancing system?

You're only changing the offset by 2mm which is negligiable, provided there's plenty of clearance at the moment, adding an extra inch of tire shouldn't make contact. Have a look at your current set and imagine a little over an extra inch on the inside.
I'm running 205/45/17x7's but mine's a different model altogether.
However I do have a friend here who previously had your model, fitted 16x7's with no issues.

i have an ae101 94 rolla and i am running 205/40/17, i got my car dropped about1.6" front and 2" in the back and i have no problem. i just got the fenders rolled and it all fits perfectly for me, decent clearance and very little rub in the back only if i carry more than 4 people in my car and i catch some serious ass bumps.
Aright, thanks for all the responses. It looks like I'll go with 205/50/15.
I decided 15s cause although 16s would look nicer, 16" wheels (and of course 16" tires) will end up costing about $150 more than if I get 15's. IMO 1 inch is not worth $150.
