Check the corolla sticky.. most answers are there... also the tech section on club4ag.com will help.

All 4AGEs have the same exhaust ports and manifolds are basically interchangeable, but intake port design and size differ.
hmmm... maybe I'll pick me up a 20V header.

ren,
try looking for the 2nd Gen ST headers... they're better than the 1st gen ones. not sure if the BT headers are a step above the 2nd Gen ST headers though.

ok thanx guys, yeah chipped a lil bit of the red paint off to find our motors are the same and exact same model, took them both for a drive just then and mine turned out a fair bit slower, the previous owner said its had cam "work" done to it but i just assumed he put new cams in. my mates car picks up really well in the lower revs, whilst mine lags alot in the lower revvs, at about 5000 revvs my car is about the same amount of power as his car, any tips as to what could be wrong, my car is getting new plugs soon but thats about all that i can think of to do to it.

do a tune up.. spark plugs, wires, Cap&rotor, clean your air filter, get a new fuel filter, etc.. and see what happens.
