(brain fart) +45 too much?

I'm having some sort of mental lapse .... is a +45 offset too much for a gen7 (93-97) AE102???
I believe the stock offset is around +38. ...so its only a matter of 7mm, correct?

tia.

I'd be running a 14x6 at +45 on an AE102

I know +42 is ok but would +45 stick out or rub or something....

how flush do they sit to the fenders and how close is close to the strut?

they'd be closer to the strut than a 42mm offset one.

I thought they would be further... maybe I'm misunderstanding how offset works.. I thought + offsets go towards the outside and - offsets go towards the inside.. but I think I was misunderstanding how the inside of the wheel would work.. I get it now.

With a plus offset I don't think you'll have any wheel sticking out of the fender problems.
Only Strut Rubbing...

i'm using stock 2001 civic ex rims with 205/50/15 and the front fit fine but the back hit the struts unless i use spacers but the thing is that when i use them i can bearly get the lugnuts on there. They're like 1/4 of the way in. Can anyone tell me why? I went to discount tire and they said that tire size should fit fine. I got a 1992 4 door corolla.

different lug nuts maybe.. remember they're Civic rims.. not really meant to fit Corollas or Toyotas for that matter.
