Ya I have a second tranny that is in very good condition. It shifts allot smother than the one I have in my car now any way. So if this one dies I don't have to worry cuz I got another that is in better condition. I belive this is why we aquire parts cars is it not. I've seen allot of cars where the body is dead but the car is still very mechanically sound. Gotta love them parts cars.

Any way since Sunday I've driven 1,200km. 8)
I still havent run outa fule too. I'm just under half a tank now.
But remember that none of this is normal driving. I've been doing nothing but highway driving. No lights, no signs no nothin.

1200km? Damn.

I think your car realized you're not gonna put gas in it so it drank all your coolant instead.

I travel from Oshawa to Airport Rd and Derry in Mississauga and back, every day (75km there, 75km back) in my ae92 GTS with 2 passangers in the car. If i gas up on sunday nite, I can probably go until Thursday Morning without filling up. Thats about 500-525km out of a 40L tank (75km X 7) Usually I gas up on wednesday nites with about a quarter left of gas. around $24 to $27 for a gas up if the tank is really low.
With my old 87 1.3L Civic HB I used to do about the same.. except to gas up I would pay about $3 less . So for a heavier and faster car.. the GTS is pretty good on gas to me. even if I drive it a bit faster than the Civic.

If it really was 1,200kms on a bit more than half a tank, you must have been driving the hybrid Toyota Prius.
