Since I bought my 1992 Corolla at an auction, my back doors wont open from the outside. It really has nothing to do with the child locks, because when we do put them on, the doors wont open at all. So I have to open my doors from the inside. What should I look at to fix this, or who should I contact? HELP!!!

LOL!

My friends late 80's - early 90's Mazda MPV has the same problem on all the doors except for the drivers door.

Take the door panel off and look for a little metal bar going from the outside door handle to the inside door handle. I would assume that the little plastic piece that joins the handle with the bar (internal) is broken. Just a guess

Yeah, your going to have to tear that door panel off and look at all that linkage. If someone was messing around with a slim jim trying to open it before you bought it, it's very likely a rod or two got popped off. (It happened to me with my first car, a Grand AM back in high school)
