need info on building 84 corolla

i wanna build a 84 corolla 4dr the box ones.

i had one it had the lil 1.6 single cam
i wanna get info on what motor is the best for it and the cheapest .
i have hook ups for japenese spec engines so if anyone has all the info let me know.

this might sound dumb but if i get a nice strong motor is there anyway i could build an auto tranny up to handle it at all or would i be "SOL" .In hondas its practically impossible.but in my focus it isnt,

i wanna build the car up for my gf and shes scared t odrive stick so my car for her is out of the question.

and is there any factory turbo toyota motors that would workin that year corolla ,i know there is a s/ced one but i wanna find a nice lil quick motor i can take out to local spots and surprise people with.

ohh yeah while my gf is driving.
