Im stressing big time... I don't know what to buy first.. body kit or rims. See, I found a body kit on andysautosports.com and it's on sale until the 29 of this month... I still haven't found anyone who can beat the price they are offering: $629.00, I found it like for $800 but honestly if I can save $200, I will for w/e other part I may be interested in.. on the other hand, I found a BMW shop that are selling me the rims I want for $940.00 Tire/Wheel/Mount & Balanced... trust me it's a damn good price, they are 18's black w/ the lip polished may i mention Hot as Hell. The problem is which one first.. of course, i'd rather slap on the rims first but i'm scared i won't find the the kit for that deal again... ahhhh, what is a woman 2 do?? what would you guys do?

Well ma'am, I suggest getting the rims and tires first as they will probably be much harder to find later than the kit will. I always go with engine work, suspension, rims, then body work. It's different for everybody, so it's basically what you like better. I suggest getting the rims first, and then maybe get a suspension kit for it, and drop it a little bit, and then see how it will look with the kit on there. You can generally find kits for relatively inexpensive, depending on where you look, but see what you like, and then go with that, because that's what's most important is how YOU feel about your car. You also have to take into account installation. On the rims, you said that it's rims, tires, mounting/balancing, done deal. With the kit, unless you install it yourself, you're gonna end up paying back that $200 just having the dam thing installed at a shop. So that's another thing to take into consideration. But like I said, see what YOU like, cause that's what matters most.
BTW I like the signature you've got.

i'm not a real fan of body kits so if were up to me i'd get lower the car 1st. after i lower it, that's when i'd get the rims. then i'd start to work on the engine or audio. when i'm fully satisfied with the engine mods and audio install (which i doubt i will ever be) that's when i might consider a body kit.
I love TN, I love opinions... anyway, I'm going to take that into consideration... (slappin the rims and lowering it and then checking if the kit is even necessary)... There were a few things that I have in mind... a sound system is definitely one of them.. i'm sticking to Pioneer. See, I want my corolla to be a show car nothing more im not into racing unless it's a supra but thats a diff. story. I think of cars as art... let me show you guys a few links, to show you whats running around in my head.... tell me if you guys like or not. Be honest, I take honesty well. BTW, I like my sig. 2, it's really suits me. LOL, actually it suits a lot of women.
The rims are impossible to find online. Sorry I can't show you the pic.. you will see the rims in about 2 weeks when I slap them on. I can't wait to share pictures of my car w/ you guys.
My car is black pearl with taupe cloth that's going to change though... I want black leather throughout the whole interior the door panels will be red leather or vinyl w/e u guys get me... Basically I want my car to be blck and red.
when the engine is done with I want to slap one of these... Split Hood
Ok, Im ready to read your opinions!!!

I keep seeing a Rolla in dwntwn T.O. With the kit you want, OMG i think i nearly pissed my self the first time i saw it....
It looks sooooooooooooooooooooooo good......
Any rollas from T.O. that have thi kit on here?
If so, i love your car
That's a nice kit for the Corolla, however I've never been a fan of "Flashy" bodykits or anything like that. I would go for rims myself, for this reason.. maybe later that kit if I feel the wheels and kit flow together.

In general with everything not just cars.. i'm extremely picky but when I see something I like, I really like it. When I saw this body kit, I thought it was perfect. If you analyze it from my point of view, with the details i've given you guys... I think the car will look clean and classy. Well, i've decided to do rims first and lowering first. We'll see how it turns out.

have to agree that it looks clean... not the racy dorifto kits (not that they're ugly or anything, its just something i wouldn't do to a front wheel drive car). btw, i'm thinking the kit will work well with a TRD supercharger and a nice front mount intercooler. just so you can back up the looks with some go.
I agree with Flashmn in that the body kit aint gonna do you much good if you're car is slow. Not to mention, most winning show cars have some sort of Forced Induction unless they show an N/A Dyno sheet that is absolutely insane. The biggest thing that judges look for in a show car is how good the car is all around. For instance, a car with a nice body that is dropped with the cleanest rims you've ever seen, but stock interior, stock sound, stock motor, is NOT going to win any respectable shows. However, bring a car that is dropped, clean rims, kit, with a fully customized interior, custom sound system, cleaned up engine bay, highly decorated, but also powerful (usually some kind of Forced Induction...Turbo or Supercharger), THAT will win shows. I am really looking forward to seeing your car after the rims and drop. But please for the sake of the people and all who hold racing dear to them, do something with the engine. I also don't think that the Split Hoods deal would look very good on your car. I don't know cause I haven't seen it on your car but I don't think it will look too good.
Oh yeah.... get a Carbon Fiber Hood, too. That would look clean as hell on the Black..

What are you gonna do with a bodykit if your car is slow as hell
I don't know man, i don't see my Rolla as a racing device.. Hell no, to me it's a trophy. I wouldn't even consier racing my car. That's why bikes exist... if you want to race get a bike or a skyline, 240 sx, Supra, see... you need to understand.. i'm a chik i just want to show my car off not race I barely even drive it. I drive my private investigating car.. a gold 99 saturn SL1... that's my bitch car.

it doesn't have to be a full race set-up. just some bolt ons to give it a bit of go to back up the looks i guess... unless you're really looking for an "all show no go" ride.
besides, i think "chicks" with nice tricked out fast cars rule.
