94 DX hood insulation...any ideas?

Would like to install some sort of hood heat-rated insulation/sound damping on the 94 I'm upgrading for my daughter's college ride. I've soundproofed the doors, floor and trunk and have installed a pretty nice sound system. For some reason, having that bare-ass, molded tin can hood gets my goat. Anyone found a retrofit for this? I've done the usual net research and this buggy dosen't seem to have any 'factory' part replacement for a hood insulator. Should I spring for an after market Camry felty and carve it down to fit?

i don't think u need hood insulator on a 94 corolla cuz 1. the engine is quiet enough that u don't need it... 2. stupid 93-97 corolla got like the heaviest hood i hav ever seen in a import car and adding a sound damping stuff wouldn't lighten the hood or the front end up... but if u really want to do it check AE100, AE110 corollas in asia i can't confirm about the AE101(JDM) or AE111 truenos and levins cuz they hav a different hood... but 93-97 corolla in north america never came w/ hood insulator
