Engine rebuild

I just wondering if someone could recommend a good engine rebuild shop in the Atlanta, Ga area or maybe a member who has done a few!!. I want to have my 4a-f rebuilt before I go any further with mods!! Thanks for any help in advance!!

The money you're gonna spend rebuilding the 4AFE you could spend on dropping a 4AGZE which already comes ready for boost.

ren69 if i may ask u a personal question why is it everytime someone ask anything dealin with a 4-afe or anything other than a 4age u automatically say swap the motor?i have a 4afe and i want to rebuild it to why cause it has good tourque.and good gas milage and its fun.nor would i bother swapin a motor or advise it cause really its a waste of time ur not gaining much u can boost a 4a-fe u can do anything if u have the $ and patince i supose..but im just wondering why u always want ppl to do a swap right off the bat

I recommend also to forget engine rebuild! Go for engine swap!
Maybe I would not recommend 4AGZE, but I recommend
http://www.pullapart.com/ (it's in Norcross, but has very good prices)

Cheap garages are poor, proper places are rather expensive, and you might end up paying more than buying another car in better condition

The rule of thumb I use is this. If you are looking for around a 50% increase in power, then stay with your stock engine. If you want more than 100%, then first upgrade to the best engine you can put in.
