I just bought a set of angel eyes projectors for my 03' corolla S. I havent installed it yet because they dont use the standard car bulbs. Does anyone know where I can pick up the replacement bulbs for these? I havent seen this type of lighting setup in a car before so I didnt want to install just incase I cant find replacement bulbs.
Thanks.
What kind of bulb does it say you need? I'm assuming that it is telling you that you need HID bulbs, which are sometimes tough to find and are pretty expensive. You can usually find them online or you may even be able to have them specially ordered for you from a parts store. I'm not sure but I'll look into it a little bit.

How do you put it into the headlights on an 04 if you just have the rings? I was making my own but wasn't able to open the headlight assembly.
The original headlights will come apart but I don't recommend it. If your insistent on it though use a heat gun with much caution. I just bought a set with them in already....they look sick!

The only way to put in the rings without opening a headlight is to take out the bulbs, make a small opening on top of where the bulb goes in (for the wires) and to put it in through that way (and put the bulbs back in place). My friend did it on his 5 series and looks hella good.

I bought the whole headlight. The bulbs are so small that they look like they would fit in a flashlight.
Why are you waiting to put them in? They aren't HID's but to replace the bulbs if you ever need to, you'll probably have to take the headlight out. BTW, you don't have to completely remove the bumper cover, just the right side (install light) and then the left side (install light)
I am waiting to install them because my warranty is over soon. The warranty is voided if I mess with the electrical crap. My warranty came in handy when I needed to replace the cover under the A/C control area. The door hinge screwed up and the door kept popping open and it was covered under warranty to fix it.
I'm trying to see if I can convert the lightbulbs to the regular car ones. I havent seen very many of the bulbs that come with it at hardware stores. I've seen them at Canadian tire but I have no clue how to take them apart. I dont want to break the shit already.
The headlights should be plug and play, the angel eyes are they only part that need wiring. If you wire them, let's say, to you parking lights, and something mechanical goes your still covered; if you wire them right and your moonroof stops working, your still covered. Call the dealership, they'll tell you that they will only void if they can prove that your work caused the problem.
The friggin Canadian dealerships are not like the ones in the states. These jerks dont cover anything under warranty once you mess with it. They told me that even if I got the lights professionally installed, it would still affect the warranty because I am messing with the electrical garbage.
The headlights are plug and play but I dont know where to find replacement bulbs incase they burn out. And I wanted to see if its possible to convert the headlights to use the OEM car bulbs.

Hi, if u are having the same JDM style Halo light as mine, where its clear cover printed HB3 & HB4, then the correct bulb to use will be H1 & H3.
