Canada intake question

hey guyz, a while ago i chnaged my stock intake to a short ram intake...i placed the sensor in the pipe(had a hole drilled) and everything went good.
recently as i was waiting for my girlfriend i noticed there was a thudding noise coming from the engine. i put up the hood and listened carefully and was able to find out that the sound was and still is comming from the intake...can anyone tell me what might be the cause...thanks

When you say a "thudding" sound, do you mean a constant "thud....thud....thud...thud" or is it just every so often?

you made your own hole for the MAF sensor?? usually they are positioned a specific way and a certain distance from the throttlebody in order to work properly. Also they are very sensitive... how long has it been running "good"?
