I have a 99 Corolla and the following has crossed my mind:
1. Exhaust (headers, high flow cat, and muffler)
2. Performance chip http://www.powerchipgroup.com/chips/chip.asp?c=1&cid=Toy0066#
3. ECU reprogramming
4. Springs/struts w/2" drop
5. RIMS (I think they truelly make a car unique)
6. Custom cold air intake
7. Brembo cross drilled slotted brakes

in no special order

Some parts fits the car, I have a 93 prizm and most of the mods are for corollas, headers, intake, etc, now I'm turbo charging it, some people think is krazy cuz they say hey it's just a prizm, but its will be a prizm with 270hp at the wheels and can eat any civic like nothing.

Hey Turbo I have a question I'm not sure about the 93 engine but my 99 engine is 10:1 and I've heard that a turbo won't give my car much improved output +/- 50hp and will greatly strain the head because of the way it's assembled. Have you ever seen a turbo successfully put on a 1zzfe corolla engine (not a celica or matrix) that didn't need a piston/ and valve job? do you have any pictures of your car or any 90 or later model rollas w/turbo installed?

I have no problems with my car, a friend of mine have the same engine on his rolla and he was running on16 and 2 of the piston broke down, it depends of how you are running your car and the amount of boost. search for my post so you can see one of the cars with the set up.
