Sliping clutch on my 99

Hey I've got a 1999 Toyota Corolla and the clutch is slipping, verry badly now, and it hasn;t always been so great since the car was bought used.

Anyways, I was just wondering how easy a job clutch replacement is on a car like this? How much would athe neccesary new parts cost? and how much you would guess it would cost to get it done?

Thanks

The clutch kit is just under $100. You have to remove the tranny to replace it. It's a pretty good job. I would do it for you for say, $120.

Europa Twincam. got a question to you. The clutch seemed strong when you bought it, isn't it? How fast did the clutch start to slip? I mean, how many miles did you drive from "clutch good" to clutch slipping?
