Swapping a 4age into ae86 sedan.

Hi I was just wondering if u guys have any links that shows how to swap in a blue top 4age into a 87 rolla sedan. I been having that engine sitting around for almost a year and no one wants it so I decided to put it in the 4 door rolla. Thanks for any info.

Not hard. The AE82 (not AE86 sedan) came with the 4A-GE in it in the guise of the Chevy Nova Twincam.

So is the swap as simple as a bolt on? Please say it's so.

And since the normal AE82 came carbed, one should probably assume that the fuel system is different too.

yes that is correct I will have to replace the fuel equipment. I will need the fuel tank, and fuel lines and all the other fuel stuff from the FX16. Which sucks cause I thought i took out enuf stuff from the junked FX16 as it is.
