Haven't had my 93' Corolla DX very long, I love it. My only problem with it is the lack of an armrest................are there any models that came with them that I could scour salvage yards to get one to put in mine?

not that old..................figured you were like 18-20. I am 30 and injured my back a few years ago on the job. Any factory toyota seats bolt up in the corolla that are more ergonomic?

I took the arm rest cushion outta a gen4 Camry (97-02) and stuck it between the seats. It fits tight and the seats can still move freely without worry and I still have easy access to my glasses (which is about all you can keep in that spot).
some jdm ae10x's came with compartment lids ... tho you'd have to import the entire center console from Japan or the Philippines or somewhere.

You can also try to get an Armrest from an 88-91 Corolla GTS coupe, it should work the GTS armrest is taller than the SR5 so it would probably be a better choice for you.
I'm actually thinking that, I never use my armrest that much its actually too far back from the seat to really be useful, then again the Corolla GTS comes with inflatable lumbar support on the seats so it really doesn't make a difference.
do the 9th generation corollas have that silly sunglass holder in the console cover like my 8th does? everytime that cover falls the sunglass holder comes loose and dumps whatever is in it into the console. if youre easy with it though the sunglass holder stays in place, but I like to slam things.
if theyre going to have a sunglass holder it should be in the roof above the rearview mirror like our honda oddysee van has, thats a much better place for it.
