4age head swap questions........

i had a friend that was going to throw a 4age head onto his 4afe engine in his celica st. a few questions.

i would need a 4age head gasket, instead of a 4afe head gasket right????

if he wants to run boost, but doesn't have forged pistons can i just get a 4age metal head gasket for compression issues?

would i need to change ecu or any other components (exhaust manifold, intake manifold etc...)

any other issues i might face on doing this simple swap. lmk i was planning to getting on this this weekend for him.

it's cheaper just to buy a 4AGE...in fact it will run off the 4AFE ECU !

4AGE ex. manifold and downpipe is different than 4AFE

also, i think the metal head gasket will raise compression, which is what you don't want for boost.

ECU? If you want to run boost, I suggest you do some homework first
