fog light on or off?

for those with fog lights, do you guys turn urs on? i always thought its for use in fogs (go figure) but i see a lot of people let them on. i know its a matter of preference, but do u guys leave them on?

We typically leave them off for in-city driving (roads with street lamps every so many hundred feet).....for ventures out into the county backroads/up in the mountains, definitely use 'em, as light is at a premium when there are no street lamps, nor houses, nor straight roads Love driving the twisties thru the mountains, but it's a lil sketchy at night.
