there's too much to list. be more specific and i think we'll bea ble to help you. for every part on that engine, you can get a performance part.

TRDSupra deals directly with TOM's. Check him out on the site.

Mod parts...
i'm thinking that when it is time for an engine rebuild, i might as well do the cams, head gasket...and possibly port+polish it if i have enough money available.
Or is there an SC that exists for the 4age?
TOMSupra..how do i contact him?
thanks for the info!

head gasket: trd/trd technocraft makes a whole bunch. readily available...other manufacturers are hks, revolver and technopro spirits...good luck finding those.

pistons: je, wiseco, hks, trd/trd technocraft, etc.

cams: hks, web cams, trd/trd technocraft, jun, toda, ted, toysport, (the latter two are reground i think), etc

port polish: i like Leitner and Bush here in toronto....haven't got my head done by them, but others have and they're good if not better than any.

oh yeah, the 4agze is a supercharged version of the 4age...its off of a aw11 or first generation supercharged mr2. the internals are slightly different than the 4age.

TRDsupra is somewhere here....just post something for him in the supra section...you'll find him.

Hey Nick, just wanted to clarify, TED cams are not regrinds, he makes them from TRD blanks.

Even though the wiring is a pain in the butt, you have to remember that the 4ag bluehat has a weaker bottom end and less goodies for forced induction, with the n/a 4age you'll have to find a standalone ecu, and get a new harness anyways because of the forced induction...
so in plain, the 4ag is a lot more work than swapping in that 4agze.

not 100% true there neil.. ted components offers a really cheapo regrind for 100$ a cam which is good for turbo and a bit nicer top end.. talk to them about it.. i think maybe it is 244 degree with an moderate increase in lift..

thanks
andrew

Yes, TED does do regrinds for people who really want them, but doesn't recommend it.

Primarily he uses new blanks.
